5457c.jpgThirty years as a successful business entrepreneur has given me a unique perspective on human behavior, leadership, motivation and change. I have worked in over 35 industries in 6 countries.

My purpose is to improve the world for all of us while my mission is to work with top management to transform their ability to integrate experiential leadership deep into their organization in order to create sustainable results.

This foundation allows me to offer speaking and training programs that are rich with content and packed with actionable fresh insights. I know about leadership because that is exactly what I have done throughout my career-lead organizations and teams.

Age 18 - I was a technical trainer in the United States Navy. In addition, I also was given responsibility for the complete operation of the mess deck on board the U.S.S. Saipan feeding two thousand marines and six hundred sailors three times a day with a crew of 85 men.

Age 24 - Co-owner of a delicatessen and operated my own mobile automobile detailing operation.

Age 36 - I led several teams that helped The Institute for Self-Actualization to become an international personal development organization and advanced to Senior Facilitator assisting at over 220 highly advanced personal leadership seminars.

Age 39 - I successfully sold a million dollar audio visual project to Robert Morris College in Chicago that required the leadership of over 30 people to plan, design and install 98 multimedia systems.

Age 41 - I founded Mobile Projection Audio Visual and became the premier A/V systems integrator and A/V sales and rental vendor in Northwest Indiana.

Age 43 - I became a certified public trainer for CareerTrack and SkillPath Seminars delivering training in 39 U.S. States and working with over eight hundred fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 companies.

Age 45 - I founded Amazing Business Workshops and was a business consultant to dozens of small business in Northwest Indiana and Chicago.

Age 48 - I founded the Institute for Self-Achievement, a dynamic educational support organization to assist individuals to take control of the direction of their lives. With 25 years of studies and successful work in self-actualization I developed a seminar based on the premise that "I already possess the ability to transform the quality of my life beyond survival."

My wife Diane and I also bought two Curves Franchises and have successfully increased membership by over 60%.

Age 49 - I was contracted to lead a team of facilitators in Cairo, Egypt to develop and deliver high content performance driver training to Vodafone, sales training to HSBC Bank, change management to Cemex and advanced leadership training to the top management at General Motors and Al Ahram/Heineken.

Age 50 - I created Domenic Certa International Training and Development.

As an active volunteer, I currently support local The North Township Trustee's Office to teach goal setting through my Achievement Seminar, I have volunterred with United Way and the Ride for Kids, which raises money for children with brain tumors.

My passions - Changing lives, being a solid example, pushing my limits, my life, my family, tennis and reaching my personal goals.

hsbc_2008.jpg”Be perfectly clear...the answer is not about managing change or managing people...it's about managing myself! If I want to transform organizational culture, I must first awaken and then be consistently reminded that I live in a global society and work in a global economy. The game is to become a caring human being with a passion and a purpose to serve my organization and ultimately our world!"
