This Leadership for Executives course is uniquely structured to maximize the intelligence gained by each participant.

woman with globe behind her headStudents are admitted as part of a cohort group. In other words, members of each class begin the program at the same point, move through the curriculum together, and typically complete as a group.

A concept, participation, debrief, application approach is used throughout the course to allow for integration on various topics. This interaction results in a challenging, stimulating learning experience that provides for maximum return on time and resources invested.

Students gain a wide range of new skills and sharpen their analytical abilities by combining course-work with day-to-day professional experiences. A unique aspect of the Applied Assertive Leadership for Executives course is the collective professional experiences of its participants, which greatly enriches the educational environment.

Program Emphasis

The focus of the Applied Assertive Leadership for Executives program is three-fold:

  1. The assertive path to effective leadership in the global environment

  2. Complete identification of personality and communication styles for maximized social consciousness

  3. Emphasizing an assertive approach for dealing with people at all levels

  • Moral in specific international markets

  • Productivity challenges in specific trades

  • Top down approach to assertive management in the global environment

  • Assertive approach to passivity and aggression

  • Integrative approach to strategic decision making

  • A total quality management approach to problem solving

  • Emerging logistical issues in the global economy

Program Structure

The Global Assertive Leadership for Executives program is comprised of five, four hour modules conducted weekly at scheduled times. Each module contains the building blocks for building appropriate and progressive assertiveness toward their international business attitude.

Students will be admitted only at the beginning of module one, and a commitment to complete the program is required from participating students.

Curriculum

This course is enhanced by the:

  • Extensive professional experience of the participants

  • Unique accelerated timetable structure to cover the maximum coursework

  • A Principal instructor who is faculty experienced in teaching and consulting

In this seminar, participants will

  1. Be engaged in open discussion to analyze the characteristics of passivity, aggression and true assertiveness in global cultures.

  2. Develop a thorough understanding of the consequences of non-assertive behavior and actions toward global prospects and clients.

  3. Work individually and in small groups to learn to apply assertiveness skills and techniques with an international perspective.

  4. Identify their habitual challenges and develop a course of action for inner personal change

  5. Identify their challenges with specific global clients and develop effective responses for them

  6. Role-play to develop an experiential understanding for real life situations

  7. Develop a personal mission statement and an outline for commitment to that mission
